EDUCATION:-

As of the 2022/23 academic year, nearly 5400 Hong Kong students have enrolled in Institutions in the Mainland through the Admission Scheme.

A total of 132 Mainland institutions have participated in the Admission Scheme In the 2023/24 academic year, Including 18 Institutions from the four GBA cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan and Zhaoqing.

Thematic youth Internship Programmes to the Mainland

Co-organized by the HKSAR Government with top-notch cultural and scientific research institutions in the Mainland, to provide Hong Kong young people with diversified, unique, in-depth and valuable internship opportunities

  1. Deepening the knowledge of young people in relevant disciplines and professional fields, as well as  their understanding of the country’s development;
  2. Expanded from two programmes in 2017 to a total of seven in 2019 (programme periods vary from three to six  weeks), including:
  3. Youth Internship Programme at Palace Museum 
  4. Youth Internship Programme at Wolong National Nature Reserve, Sichuan 
  5. Youth Internship Programme at Chinese Academy of Sciences v Youth Internship Programme at Dunhuang 
  6. Youth Internship Programme at Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympics  
  7. Winter Games
  8. Youth Internship Programme at Shandong on Marine Sciences Youth Internship Programme at Wuyishan on Biodiversity Conservation So far around 250 Hong Kong young people have participated in the programme and benefited from the unique and in-depth thematic internship opportunities   

Scholarships for International Students

 

HKSAR Government Scholarship

The scholarship is HK$80,000 (approximately US$10,300) per year for non-local students.

The Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund

Provides scholarships to outstanding local and non-local students pursuing full-time locally-accredited self-financing sub-degree or bachelor’s degree programmes. HK $80,000

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

Provides an annual stipend of HK$319,200 (approximately US$40,900) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,300

“Qamar Minhas Scholarship Program”

For our students which totalled $10.000 HKD. ISLAMIC KASIM TUET MEMORIAL COLLEGE
